Man Jailed for Seven and a Half Years for Sexually Abusing Young Girl

A 30-year-old man has been sentenced to seven and a half years in prison for sexually abusing a young girl.

Damian Clarke, of Penfield Grove, Clayton, Bradford, was found guilty on Friday following a trial at Bradford Crown Court.

The jury convicted him on six charges of sexually assaulting a child under 13 and a single count of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.

Clarke must register as a sex offender for an indefinite period. Recorder Simon Eckersley, the presiding judge, also imposed a Sexual Harm Prevention Order, also for an indefinite length of time.
