Delivery Driver Jailed for Sexual Assault

A delivery driver who repeatedly asked a customer for sex and then tried to kiss her has been jailed.

Denis Bahrim, 26, of Beckett Road, Wheatley, admitted sexual assault and was jailed on 15 May for two years and 10 months.

The incident occurred at the woman's home in Doncaster. Bahrim had asked to use the woman's toilet before returning downstairs and grabbing her shoulder when she rejected his advances. He refused to leave and told her she was "beautiful," Sheffield Crown Court heard.

The woman reported the attack to police after Bahrim left her home. Officers were able to identify him through footage from her doorbell, leading to his arrest.

In addition to the prison sentence, Bahrim was given an indefinite restraining order against the woman.

South Yorkshire Police investigations officer Jenny Dunkin said: "Bahrim took advantage of his victim's generosity. She let him into her home to use her toilet only for him to repay her kindness by sexually assaulting her."

Dunkin added: "I hope this court result brings some closure to the victim and allows her to move on from what must have been a very traumatic ordeal."
