Angus Man Ordered to Pay Thousands for Child Molestation

A 61-year-old man from Angus has been ordered to pay thousands in compensation to two women he molested on a farm near Dundee when they were children.

Derek Strachan targeted the two girls, who were just seven and eight years old at the time, over a three-month period in 1984.

The court heard details of the abuse, which Strachan was found guilty of following a trial. He was sentenced to a period of imprisonment and ordered to pay compensation to his victims.
