Port Paedophile Receives Maximum Sentence Despite Social Worker Recommendations

Edward Tily, 61, has been sentenced to the maximum five-year prison term and placed on the Sex Offenders Register indefinitely for repeatedly abusing a 12-year-old girl.

Sheriff Andrew McIntyre, who presided over the case, described Tily's actions as "abhorrent" and highlighted the vulnerability of the victim.
