Ellis Dismore: Violent Predator Who Stalked and Stabbed Teen
Ellis Dismore, a 24-year-old university graduate, has been sentenced to 43 years in prison for attempted murder and multiple sex offenses against underage girls.
Dismore's crimes spanned several years and involved online grooming, blackmailing, and physical assault. He used fake profiles to lure young victims into sending him explicit photos and engage in sexual conversations. He then threatened them with exposure and violence if they refused his demands.
In one horrific incident, Dismore stalked and stabbed a teenage girl multiple times after she blocked him online. Fortunately, a passerby intervened, preventing the attack from being fatal. During his trial, it was revealed that Dismore had targeted at least nine young girls, leaving them with lasting psychological trauma.
The judge described Dismore as a "violent predator" and classified him as a dangerous offender. He imposed an extended sentence of 43 years, including 38 years in prison and five years on license. Additionally, Dismore was subjected to a lifetime sexual harm prevention order and a restraining order prohibiting any contact with his victims.
This case highlights the dangers of online grooming and the importance of protecting children from sexual exploitation. It also underscores the need for vigilance and awareness among parents and educators to help safeguard young people from such predators.
