A Northwich man has admitted to possessing indecent images of children and animals.

George Dutton, 20, from Victoria Road, will be sentenced at Chester Crown Court in December after pleading guilty to a series of offences.

Dutton was found to have 48 indecent images and videos of children between May 15, 2023, and March 19 of this year. During the same period, he possessed four extreme pornographic images and two videos depicting a person performing sex acts with a live animal.

He also admitted to making a total of 48 indecent images of children, including eight category A images and 13 category A videos, 15 category B images and seven category B videos, and one category C image and four category C videos.

Dutton appeared at Chester Magistrates Court on November 22 where he pleaded guilty to all five charges. He will be sentenced at Chester Crown Court on December 23 and has been released on conditional bail until then.

As part of his bail conditions, Dutton must register any device capable of accessing the internet with the police and hand it over when requested. He is also prohibited from deleting his internet history.
