Two teenagers, George Johnson and Vincenzo Montessori, were jailed for sexually assaulting a 20-year-old woman at a house party in December 2020.

The incident occurred on December 27, 2020, at a house party where the victim, who was intoxicated and unable to consent, was sexually assaulted by the two teenagers.

The assault was captured on video by another partygoer, which later helped identify Johnson and Montessori.

The video footage showed Johnson and Montessori taking turns to sexually assault the victim, with Johnson even attempting to rape her.

The victim, who could not remember the evening, was informed by a friend about the assault and subsequently reported it to the police.

Following a trial at Chester Crown Court, Johnson was found guilty of attempted rape and sexual assault and sentenced to 10 years in a young offender institution.

Montessori, who pleaded guilty to sexual assault prior to the trial, was sentenced to five years in a young offender institution.

Both Johnson and Montessori will be subject to a restraining order and must sign the sex offender register.
