Serial sex offender, Irene Torrie, 42, faces charges after groping a taxi driver, exposing herself, and making lewd propositions.

Torrie, known for previous convictions including rubbing her body against a train conductor and performing a sex act in front of police, was placed on the Sex Offenders Register after her latest offense.

The incident occurred on May 29, 2020, when Torrie entered a taxi, removed her shorts, and exposed herself to the driver. She proceeded to touch his penis and made sexually explicit demands, offering to pay for sex.

The driver, feeling threatened, pulled over and told her to stop, but she continued her advances. He eventually managed to get her out of the car.

Torrie was subsequently dropped off at her ex-husband's home, where he warned the driver about her behavior. Torrie then offered the driver money for sex, as recorded on his mobile phone.

Torrie has a history of similar offenses, including a previous incident where she rubbed her body against a train conductor after a Prosecco binge. She was also placed on the Sex Offenders Register in 2019 for performing a sex act in front of police during a neighbor dispute.

The Dundee Sheriff Court is currently considering whether Torrie qualifies for the Tay Project, a rehabilitation scheme for sex offenders.
