Jason King, a 32-year-old man from North Ferriby, North Humberside, was sentenced to four and a half years in prison on February 14th at Winchester Crown Court.

King pleaded guilty to numerous offenses committed between November 2023 and May 2024, including the making and distribution of indecent images and videos of children, some falling into the most serious category A.

While staying overnight in Chicklade, King engaged in sexual communications with a child, violating the terms of his Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO). SHPOs are court orders designed to protect the public from sexual harm.

Detective Constable Anthony Swift of the Child Internet Exploitation Team stated, "We will continue to manage these orders robustly and undertake more work that goes unreported." Following his prison sentence, King will be on license for an additional two and a half years and subject to an indefinite SHPO.
