Rapist Jailed for Nearly Seven Years After Admitting Offenses

Joshua Foote, 24, of Newhaven Road in Orford, has been sentenced to six years and eight months in prison after pleading guilty to rape and sexual assault.

The incident occurred in June 2019, where Foote raped and sexually assaulted a woman.

On Monday, February 21, Foote was sentenced at court. In addition to his prison sentence, he was ordered to sign the sex offenders register for life and pay a £170 victim surcharge.
