Pervert florist committed a sex attack on a teenager at a hotel.

Florist Sentenced for Sex Assault After Calvin Harris Concert

A 21-year-old florist, Kaeleb Thomas, was convicted of sexually assaulting a 19-year-old teenager at Glasgow's Jury's Inn on July 3, 2022.

The victim, who had attended a Calvin Harris concert at Hampden Park with a friend, met Thomas and his friend, whom she knew, at the hotel room. Court documents state that Thomas repeatedly placed his hand under the teenager's shorts, touched her inappropriately over her underwear, touched her legs, sat astride her, and kissed her on the neck. He also performed a sex act on her on two separate occasions.

Thomas, from Livingston, West Lothian, was found guilty by a jury at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Tuesday. His defense attorney, Alan Jackson, stated that Thomas is a first offender who has worked as a florist for two years.

Sheriff Tony Kelly, acknowledging the seriousness of the offense, said, "You were convicted of a serious charge which puts you at risk of custody in light of its seriousness." Sentence was deferred until next month, pending background reports.

Thomas, who is now subject to sex offenders requirements, was granted bail until his sentencing.
