Voyeur filmed women on the toilet and getting changed without them knowing.

Keir Hazlehurst, 33, was sentenced to 36 weeks imprisonment suspended for two years for voyeurism.

Hazlehurst, who managed a fish and chip shop, used both his phone and a spy camera to secretly film three women, including a 16-year-old, without their knowledge.

The videos came to light after he showed a photo of a woman on a toilet to a friend, who reported him to the police.

Police found 43 still images taken from videos of the three women, as well as two images of a fourth woman taken at the Celtic Manor hotel in Newport.

Hazlehurst pleaded guilty to two counts of voyeurism and expressed remorse for his actions.

One of the victims, in a victim impact statement, said her life had been "changed forever" and that she felt unable to leave her house or engage in social activities.

Sentencing, the Recorder of Cardiff Judge Eleri Rees said Hazlehurst's actions were driven by his own sexual gratification and had caused significant distress to the victims.

In addition to the suspended sentence, Hazlehurst was ordered to complete various rehabilitation programs and will remain on the sex offenders' register for 10 years.
