Security expert who volunteered for NHS during Covid pandemic revealed as child rapist.

A security expert, Ken Clark, who led a secret life as a child rapist, has been sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Clark, 65, formerly of Chapman Avenue, Maidstone, was found guilty of 18 child sex offenses, including rape, and possession of indecent images.

He had a seemingly respectable career, touring China, India, and Japan as a high-ranking executive with a nationwide security company. He even volunteered to help the NHS during the Covid pandemic.

However, behind this facade, Clark preyed on children as young as three, making them "pinky promise" not to reveal the abuse.

Family members of the victims wept in the public gallery as they listened to the evidence against Clark at Maidstone Crown Court.

As Clark was being led away, refusing to look at the gallery, one mother shouted, "I hope you ******* rot."

The judge, Recorder Simon Stirling, heard how Clark's three-year campaign of rape left his victims suffering nightmares, panic attacks, suicidal thoughts, and probable long-term psychological damage.

One of his victims was particularly vulnerable due to a medical condition.

The sex attacks only ended when one victim spoke out, revealing Clark had made them promise not to say anything.

Even then, Clark denied the attacks and tried to blame others, but the jury saw through his lies.

Despite his previous contributions to society, which included working for the Chinese government and building hospitals in India, the judge ruled that Clark still posed a danger to children.
