Liam Lewis, a 31-year-old man from Ferndale, Rhondda Cynon Taff, has been sentenced to three years and nine months in prison for attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child and attempting to arrange or facilitate the commission of a child sex offense – rape or assault by penetration of a child under 13.

Lewis was convicted at Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court. In addition to his prison sentence, he is subject to a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order and will be required to register as a sex offender indefinitely.
