Sex offender who secretly filmed victims.

Man Jailed for Three Years for Covertly Filming Teenage Girls and Women

Luke Greenfield, 25, of Beverley, has been sentenced to three years in prison for making covert explicit videos of teenage girls and women. Greenfield initially claimed the recordings were consensual, but was subsequently charged with 18 counts of voyeurism.

He faced further charges, including three counts of having sex with a female under 16, two counts of making indecent images, and two counts of taking indecent images. Greenfield pleaded guilty to all charges shortly before his trial was scheduled to begin.

In addition to his prison sentence, Greenfield was placed on the sex offenders register for life and issued a five-year restraining order at Hull Crown Court on Thursday.

The investigation was launched last year after a woman reported that Greenfield had secretly filmed her in an explicit video without her consent. When she confronted him, he threatened to publish the footage online.

During the investigation, officers discovered a camera and other electronic devices containing over 30 explicit videos of 27 girls and women on a mobile phone. The victims were filmed at Greenfield's home and workplace, according to Humberside Police.

Police identified two teenage girls and several women who were unaware that Greenfield had been recording them. Det Con Daniel Radford, who led the investigation, described Greenfield as a "dangerous sexual offender" who "manipulated women and girls for his own predatory desires."

"Highly calculated, Greenfield lured the women and girls to his home and made false promises to them about future plans and endeavors, when really he had an ulterior motive," Radford stated. "While I am pleased he eventually admitted to his inexcusable crime, sparing the victims the upset of a trial, Greenfield showed no remorse for his unforgiveable actions throughout the entirety of the investigation."
