Huddersfield Man Jailed for Child Indecency

Martin Glynn Whittle, 72, of Lucy Lane, Huddersfield, has been sentenced to four and a half years in prison for indecently assaulting a child in the 1980s.

Whittle was found guilty following a four-day trial at Leeds Crown Court on one charge of indecent assault on a child under 14 years of age.

The sentence was handed down this week. Whittle will also be subject to the Sex Offender Register requirements.
