Convicted Sex Offender Sentenced to Two Years in Prison for Child Abuse Image Download Attempt

A 30-year-old man, Manfredi, has been sentenced to two years in prison after admitting to attempting to download child abuse images of young girls. The sentencing took place on August 30 at Chelmsford Crown Court.

Manfredi, who was residing at a hostel in Chelmsford, was convicted for violating a sexual harm prevention order for the third time. His previous conviction in October 2016 involved the downloading of 665 indecent images of children. Police investigations revealed that Manfredi had searched for websites containing pre-teen pornography.
