Sex Offender Jailed for 14 Years for Abusing Multiple Survivors in Staffordshire

Michael Lee Price, 22, of Burton-on-Trent, was sentenced at Shrewsbury Crown Court on Friday, June 14th, after being found guilty of ten offenses. These offenses included rape and sexual assault against multiple survivors.

The investigation began in July 2022 when one of the survivors bravely came forward and disclosed the abuse she had suffered at the hands of Price. Following this, further survivors came forward, providing their own accounts of the abuse.

Price was arrested, questioned, and charged with numerous sexual offenses. Despite initially denying his crimes, he was found guilty by a jury at Stafford Crown Court in April 2023.

The sentence handed down today consists of 14 years imprisonment, followed by an extended license period of three years. Price was also placed on the Sex Offenders Register for life and given an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
