A lifelong Brethren member and former care home director who attempted to rape a teenager over 30 years ago has been sentenced to four months in prison. Morgan Johnson, aged 83, committed the assault during the 1980s. He groped his victim's breasts and forced his tongue down her throat.

Johnson later wrote a letter of apology to the victim but later recanted, claiming it was all lies. Despite this, he was found guilty of sexual assault and sentenced at Belfast Crown Court.
