Rapist carried out vile sex attacks on two women.

Children's Charity Counselor Found Guilty of Rape and Indecent Assault

Morgan Prior, a counsellor who featured in a BBC documentary about his polyamorous lifestyle, has been convicted of rape and indecent assault. A jury found him guilty of raping one woman and sexually assaulting another, both incidents occurring over a decade ago.

Prior, who openly discussed his unconventional relationships on television, was remanded in custody and faces a substantial prison sentence. The 33-year-old, with his signature ponytail, was found guilty by a majority of jurors at the High Court in Dundee, although he was acquitted of four other sexual offenses.

Temporary Judge Gallacher stated, "It is not remotely conceivable that a non-custodial sentence will follow. You have been convicted of two charges. One is serious and the other is very serious. The inevitable outcome I will address more comprehensively at the next calling of the case. You have been convicted of offenses which will inevitably result in a significant period of custody."

Sentence is deferred for reports to the High Court in Glasgow on July 18th. One victim testified that Prior attacked her in December 2010, pinning her to a bed and raping her. The other victim reported that in October 2010, Prior indecently assaulted her at an address in Dundee. She described him removing her clothing, pinning her down, making sexual remarks, and groping her.

Prior was cleared of other charges, including attempted rape in 2011 and indecent assault against a 16-year-old girl in 2008.
