Rapist who lured vulnerable women into his car.

A man has been sentenced to 22 years in prison for raping three women in separate incidents.

The man, identified as [Name], was found guilty of four counts of rape at Preston Crown Court on [Date].

The court heard that [Name] lured the women into his vehicle by pretending to be a taxi driver, before driving them to secluded locations and assaulting them.

The first incident occurred on [Date] in Preston city centre. The victim got into [Name]'s car and was driven to a secluded area where she was raped. She was then dropped off back in the city centre and flagged down a member of the public for help.

The second incident happened on [Date] in Darwen. The victim was on a night out and got into [Name]'s car. He drove her to a secluded area on the outskirts of Darwen where he raped her.

The third incident occurred on [Date]. The victim got into [Name]'s car in Darwen town centre. He drove her towards Bolton, stopping in a secluded area where he raped her.

[Name] was identified after his black Toyota Yaris was captured on CCTV cameras.

Judge Heather Lloyd described [Name] as a dangerous offender and sentenced him to 17 years in custody with a further five years on extended licence. He was also ordered to sign the Sex Offenders Register for life.
