Sex Offender Jailed for 14 Years for Abusing Two Girls and a Woman

Nicholas Lumsden, 40, of Birmingham, has been sentenced to 14 years in prison for multiple sexual offenses against two girls and a woman in Kent.

Lumsden was convicted of indecent assault, sexual assault, and sexual activity with a child following a trial at Maidstone Crown Court.

The investigation began with allegations of sexual assault against a woman in Dover in 2019. During the investigation, evidence surfaced indicating Lumsden had committed historic sexual offenses against children in Ashford.

Despite denying the charges, Lumsden was found guilty of a string of offenses. He was sentenced on Wednesday, April 17, and will serve an additional five years on license following his prison term.

The court also imposed a 25-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order on Lumsden.
