Man Jailed for Grooming and Sexually Abusing Young Girl

Paul Jenkins of Southampton was sentenced to 30 months in prison at Southampton Crown Court after being found guilty of child sexual abuse.

The court heard that Jenkins began abusing the girl when she was just 11 years old. The abuse continued for two years.

Jenkins was found guilty of three out of four charges he faced. He will serve half of his sentence and will be required to register as a sex offender for life.
