66-Year-Old Man Jailed for Historic Sexual Offences Against Children in Stirling

A 66-year-old man, Peter McCormick, has been sentenced to five years in prison for historic sexual offences against children in Stirling.

McCormick was convicted on Tuesday, 28 May, 2024, at the High Court in Glasgow of four charges of Lewd and Libidinous practices.

The offences involved the sexual assault of four boys, all under the age of 13, between 1978 and 1996 in Stirling.

He was sentenced today (Monday, 5 August, 2024) at Glasgow High Court and was also placed on the Sex Offenders Register indefinitely.
