Phillip Peach Jailed for Making Indecent Images of Children
A Winchester man has been jailed for possessing over 300 indecent images of children.
Phillip Peach, 35, was arrested at his Drayton Street home on June 25, 2024, following information received by police about his access to indecent images of children. A search of his digital devices revealed 308 images, with 43 classified as Category A (the most serious category), 24 as Category B, and 241 as Category C.
This is not Peach's first offense; he has previously served prison time for similar crimes and was subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) issued by the courts. During the investigation, it was discovered that Peach had breached his SHPO by communicating with children, deleting data, and possessing unregistered electronic devices.
Peach faced three counts of making indecent photographs of children and six counts of breaching a sexual harm prevention order. He pleaded guilty to all charges at Winchester Crown Court on March 3, 2025, and was sentenced to two years and eight months in prison.
