A 'creepy' Swindon sex offender, Dr Prabhat Sakya, has been convicted of breaching a court order for the second time.

Sakya was previously found guilty of sexually assaulting two women on a train in 2021. He avoided immediate custody and was given a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) after being convicted at trial.

In 2023, Wiltshire police uncovered an Instagram page believed to belong to Sakya that featured photos of young women and girls, some with captions raising concerns. Many of the photos were taken at the Swindon Designer Outlet.

Officers discovered five iPhones, two computers, and a tablet during a search which had not been disclosed to Sakya's sex offender manager. Another breach involved disposing of a laptop that was also undisclosed to police.

Sakya admitted to all nine charges of breaching his SHPO at Swindon Magistrates' Court. He was sentenced to a 12-month community order with 20 days of activity with the probation service and fined £200.
