A mother discovered her partner was a "high-risk" paedophile after searching his name online and finding a Press and Journal article about his past crimes.

Troy Sutherland was placed on the sex offender's register indefinitely and sentenced to 39 months in prison in 2017 after being convicted of blackmailing children into sending him nude pictures.
